Autumn/Winter Wishlist 2016: Hair + Nails

Hi everyone!

I am back with the penultimate post in my wishlist series!

Today its all about Hair and Nail products, there are so many new things that will be out this season and I have also chosen a few things that have been around for a long while!

1) Bumble and Bumble - Surf Spray. £22.00 for 125ml.

I always go past this counter in Boots and look at this spray yet I never actually buy it? Supposedly this spray adds texture, volume and a matte finish to hair, which is perfect because I am totally digging my shorter hair length but I still need volume! Have any of you guys tried this spray? Is it worth the hype?

2) For Your Nails Only Polishes. - Between £3.75 - £4.75.

I saw a piece online about this company, and I was immediately hooked! This is a small company run by Sharon in Scotland who makes and sells her own polishes. Her Instagram page is so divine, she sells glitter polishes, colour changing polishes and others which are all beautiful. She makes them in small batches and they sell out pretty quickly. I am so happy to see her get amazing recognition.

3) Origins - Calm to Your Senses™ Comforting Conditioning Hair Mask - £20.70.

I really love Origins, I use a lot of their skincare and bodycare, all of their ingredients work well with my skin too! This hair mask restores hair and adds softness and shine to the tresses. A definite treat for all hair types!

4) Smith & Cult Nail Lacquer in Bitter Buddhist. £19.00

" Delivering smooth, even coverage and a stunning spectrum of covetable colours, the high-performance formula is high-shine, long-wear and 5-free." Every single one of the polishes in this range are so lovely! I want to start collecting these slowly, and can we just take a moment to talk about how pretty the bottles are?!. Bitter Buddhist is a lovely muted sage/mint green colour and it is awesome for this season.

5) GHD Platinum White Hair Styler. £165.00

I own a pair of GHDs that have now long retired, they hardly work and I just want to invest in some new ones! These look like they can really cut the time on straightening/styling your hair. I know a few people that own these and  they have said that they are definitely worth the price tag!

6) Nails Inc Superfood Repair Oil.. £15.00 (14ml)

I have never tried any kind of repair oils for my nails before but they definitely need some TLC. This "is a nourishing treatment for the nails and cuticles that replenishes and refreshes....
Infused with Sweet Almond, Argan and Rose Hip Oils, Superfood Repair Oil boosts the nails full of hydration and Vitamin A, providing a stronger, healthier and glossier finish, whilst simultaneously conditioning the cuticles..."

There you have it - the products that are on my wishlist. Have any of you guys tried any of these?
What would you recommend for Hair and Nail products these up coming season?

I hope you all have a lovely week ahead!

Take care and much love!

Autumn/Winter Wistlist 2016: Bath & Body

Hello everyone!

I hope that you are all well and had a super awesome weekend. I am back again with an A/W wishlist post and today its all about Bath & Body.

1) Lush Halloween Collection. Price: VARIOUS.

Everything in this collection from bath bombs, soaps to shower gels looks awesome! I always love the special things that Lush produce for various holidays. I can't wait to see what they have for Christmas this year! :D

2) Laura Mercier - Creme Brulee Honey Bath. £33.00

This is a product I have wanted for a long time, I see it all the time at my local counter but never actually get the opportunity to purchase! A total indulgence and the packaging is super cute.

3) L'Occitane - Almond Milk Concentrate.  £38.00

I always go to the L'Occitane store to try out this product, and I have yet to purchase it! It is one of the most amazingly moisturising yet lightweight body creams I have ever tried. It just melts into your skin without a trace. I recommend this to everyone! It is a must have.

4) Tony Moly - Magic Food Banana Hand Milk.  $12.00 (USD)

Firstly, how adorable is the packaging for this product? Its super cute. Secondly the reviews for this hand cream have been so good I just had to add it to my wishlist!

5) Sister & Co - Raw Coconut & Activated Charcoal Sugar Scrub.  £23.99

I have tried quite a few body scrubs but this is something new to me. Apparently this scrub can do the following:
  • Porous-activated charcoal heals breakouts and reduces inflammation
  • Mineral and antioxidant-rich coconut sugar replenishes skin
  • Removes dead skin cells
  • Scrub can also be used as a detoxifying face mask

I hope to try this out one day as I love the smell of coconut!

6) Philosophy - Cinnamon Buns (Shampoo, Shower Gel & Bubble Bath) £14.50

Each year I treat myself to a Philosophy all in one product. And this year I have my eyes set on this one. I love how long lasting they are and the scents are just incredible! I absolutely adored my Pumpkin Pie version from a couple of years back.. :D

7) Sol de JaneiroBrazilian Bum Bum Cream $45.00 USD

I have heard so much about this cream, and I just want to see what all the hype is about. Supposedly it is "A fast-absorbing body cream that helps tighten and smooth the look of skin. " Its a shame that I have only seen it on Sephora so far... (But hey the UK might get a Sephora here again! Remember when we used to have a few back in the day! Gosh those were good times...! )

So there we have it, I think this is a reasonable amount of products for my wishlist! I must say, there might be a few more but I had to compose it down to 7!

Are there any products in this list that you have tried? Or want to try? What is on your wishlist for the new season?
I have really enjoyed doing these posts and taking the time to research the products, I think I will definitely keep up with them!

Keep smiling guys and I wish you all fantastic week!

Autumn/Winter 2016 Wishlist: MAKE UP

Hi guys!!

How are you all?
So yesterday we celebrated Eid, and I won't lie my make up turned out pretty well! I was inspired to do a make up best of 2016 post... so look out for that at the end of the year!

Today I'ma talk about my A/W Wishlist for MAKE UP!!!

I think I am most excited about this post!! I have SOOO many things on my wishlist and I really had to try hard to get my top products here. So here goes!!!

1) Juvia's Place - Nubian 2nd Edition Eyeshadow Palette. RRP $35.00 (USD)

HOW BEAUTIFUL IS THIS PALETTE? I love the look of this, and you get quite a lot of product for your  money. I believe this palette has 4 matte shades and 8 shimmer/metallics. From what I have seen the swatches look incredible! I am just feeling all the warm tones in this palette and I think you could come up with some fab looks :D

2) Becca Rose Quartz Shimmering Skin Perfector.  $38.00 (USD)

I only own Champagne Pop by Becca but this is one of the ones I would love to try! Its limited edition but it is the perfect neutral pale/pink rose colour.

3) NARS - Audacious Lipstick in Mona. £24.00

I am a big big fan of these Audacious lipsticks. Its worth every penny in my opinion. I currently own 4 or 5 shades but I feel like I need more! Mona is a beautiful mahogany colour and it would be perfect for this season.

4) Charlotte Tilbury - Filmstar Bronze & Glow in Light Medium. £49.00

This duo isn't exactly the cheapest but I have been lucky enough to use this and I am in love! The sculpt and highlight colours are beautiful and well pigmented. This is a real splurge :P

5) Giorgio Armani Lumious Silk Foundation. £37.00

I keep meaning to buy this foundation, but I just never get around to it! I feel that it would be suitable for the upcoming season, My skin always looks dull during autumn and winter and I would love to get a nice glow to it. The reviews have always been amazing for this foundation - no wonder why its a cult favourite!

6) Marc Jacobs Air Blush in Flesh & Fantasy. £28.00

Hurrah! Marc Jacobs has finally landed in John Lewis! I am sooo excited about this range being easily available now. I can just order products online and collect in my local store! I absolutely love the look of this blush, the terracotta/nude tones are great for fall!

7. Kat Von D  - MOST THINGS!

I am so glad that Kat Von D has FINALLY landed in the UK. I intend to make full use of this brand now. I have too many things on my wishlist but a few of them are:
Metal Crush Eyeshadows,
Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks - ( I own three of these and its not enough!)
Shade + Light Eyeshadow Palette
Shade + Light Contour Palette
Lock-It Cremé Concealer.
(And probably more? But I should do a massive clear out before I buy more LOL)

Honestly, my list could go on for a while! But these are a few of the products I have been lusting after... have you guys tried any of these?

What is on your list of the new seasons make up must haves?

Much love and keep smiling!

Autumn/Winter 2016 Wishlist: SKIN

Firstly, HI! How are you all?

It has been well well over a year. I know I am terrible, but life happens... and I forget. No excuse, but I will try to post more now.

Of course, I am still loving my beauty products, my collection is growing a lot and I can't really seem to get enough. So  nothing has really change there I suppose..? Apart from the fact that I am now a little older and wiser!

Let me just say this right now, Autumn/Winter is my favourite time of the year. I am not really a Summer person, even though my birthday is in August. I just prefer the Autumn/Winter vibe, I love all the colours and I like the idea of wearing jumpers, having coffee (PSL please!) and the overall feeling of being warm? Its Christmas too, so whats not to love!

I am gonna start with SKIN. I feel like I am going to have a lot of things on my wishlist. So I will split this into Skin, Make Up, Bath & Body, Hair + Nails & Fragrance.

SKINCARE WISHLIST:

1) Sunday Riley : Luna Sleeping Night Oil ( 30ml )£85.00

There is a lot of talk about this product. I have wanted this for a while, I feel like it would be perfect for the colder months ahead. I guess the pricetag puts me off a little. But I really should invest in a good oil. After all my skin is all I have! Have any of you guys tried this yet?

2) Pixi - Glow Tonic. (250ml) £18.

This is something that I have wanted to invest in for the longest time. Its always sold out in M&S and the online reviews have been amazing. I use a toner that  bought in France at the moment, but this is high on up my list!

3) Dr Brandt - MAGNETIGHT Age-Defier™ Mask. 3 oz $75.00

According to Sephora this "is a powerful age-defying facial mask that dramatically transforms the look of your skin by harnessing the power of attraction. The magnetic properties of the iron based formula and magnet help to reduce signs of aging skin and reduce the appearance of stressed skin. Skin is left looking magnetically youthful and energized."
I have seen people use this on social media and I am intrigued! A mask that uses a magnet! It got me thinking about the hype, but I still want to try this at some point. If anything, perhaps using the magnet will be satisfying and offer a deep nourishing cleanse.

4) Charlotte Tilbury - Charlotte's Magic Cream. 50ml £70.00

You guys, I cannot. I LOVE THIS CREAM SO MUCH. I have been lucky enough to try it a couple of times. And it really is magical. Its one of the things you have to invest in  but its well worth it. My skin felt AMAZING. I cannot wait to purchase the full size. :D

5) Charlotte Tilbury -  Magic Night Cream. 50ml £100.00

Ok to this is pretty pricey, but I want to pair it with Charlottes Magic Day Cream. Its such a luxe item but I really do want to try it out and see what it does to my skin. :D

I have had the pleasure of trying this mask before an event. My skin was so soft and nourished. It felt amazing! Just the kind of pick up my skin really needed. Again this mask isn't exactly the cheapest option but it does wonders for your skin. I cannot wait to purchase the full size :D

Autumn/Winter is the worst time for lips, mine dry out all the time! I wanna try out this lip mask and see if it lives up to the hype. I can't be wearing liquid lipsticks and have super dry lips! Not a good look lol!

So that's it, these are the products on my wishlist for the new season.

Is there anything that you want to try out or have tried out?

I wish you all a great start to the new season.
Take care!

Ash xx
