Urban Decay Naked2 Palette.

Confession. I bought this palette back in like the beginning of February.
YES I am that terrible! Butttt I have been busy (as well as lazy) to post about this. BUT NOT TODAY!!
FINALLY I can talk about this much awaited palette. And present my own thoughts over it. :)

So I have some swatches and pictures below. (Thank goodness for my diptic app on the iPhone!)

Top to Bottom Swatches. Foxy, Half Baked, Bootycall and Chopper.

Top to Bottom Swatches Tease, Snakebite, Suspect and Pistol.

Top to Bottom swatches Verve, YDK, Busted and Blackout.

So this palette has a good mixture of neutrals, Foxy, Tease and Blackout are Matte colours. Perfect for highlighting, all over and lining. I like the mixtures of copper toned neutrals in this palette something the first Naked palette did not have. I have heard that it might be hard for some to create a good balance of neutral looks...maybe because the last palette had a clear balance of 12 colours. four gold tones, four brown tones and four grey/peach tones.  However this palette does come with that all important matte black with is a useful colour in any palette.

I have been slightly disappointed with the inclusion of Half Baked and YDK...these colours have been in previous Urban Decay palettes and I would have liked to seen something different in their place. In the last palette I loved the peachy nudes and the inclusion of the grey colour it creates a better smokey eye in my opinion.

Overall it is a good  palette, the brush is useful as the double sides are handy when you are on the go. Personally I think I still prefer the first Naked Palette. Probably because of the two peachy colours and the glitter like black.

What are your opinions over the Naked2 Palette....is it really worth all of the hype?

Keep smiling everyone!

Lush Hair!

Oh I do love Lush and at the moment I am really into trying their hair products.

I got the Curly Wurly Shampoo as I have never tried a liquid/cream shampoo from Lush it has only ever been a solid one. I like the the overall effect of this shampoo it is full of coconut, cocoa butter, shea butter, avacado butter and olive oil. It is so moisturising and conditioning and restores my curls to the right state! The only bad thing about this shampoo is that the coconut parts can be hard to wash out...but I try to ignore that most of the time :P You get around 220 grams of product and it costs around £9.50 but a little goes a long way so it is a good investment.

I have also wanted to try the post-wash treatments from Lush so for this reason I purchased the R & B Hair Moisturiser. This is for reviving hair and balancing the scalp. I am in love with this product! It leaves your hair feeling soft and shiny and gets rid of the dryness. I love the smell it contains coconut oil, olive oil and avacado butter it nourishes my hair and leaves my curls in amazing condition. :D A little of this product goes a long way it comes in a 100 gram pot for £10.50 and will last me atleast 4-5 months!

The final product I got was the Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub. I have wanted this for such a long time but I never actually got around to buying it. This scrub is so gentle that it can be used in the shower as a normal wash or pre-wash as an intensive treatment. I love the way this makes your skin feel, it is left with softness and gets rid of the dirt. The Mimosa and Orange Flower fragrance lasts all day it is just devine! In a 330 gram tub you get the amazing bright blue product  for £7.75 and it can usually last around a month or two. Depending on how often you use it. I use mine 2 times a week just to give my skin a little treat.

So these are defnitely my favourite products at the moment I just cannot wait to buy the whole store one day! :P
Keep smiling all!

MAC Viva Glam

I just had to buy the new MAC Viva Glam Nicki Minaj Lipstick. I had heard so much about it that I could not resist I also decided to pair it with the Viva Glam Ricky Lip Conditioner as I wanted to be fair to the lipstick :P Plus I have never tried a MAC lip conditioner before and I was intrigued by this duo.

The lipstick is a bright yellow pink which is so suited to any skintone it eventually gives a coral like effect and the lip conditioner works wonders..I am happy that all funds go to the MAC AIDS fund so I felt like I was doing my bit AND looking glamourous :P. My MAC girl was so happy that I bought the pair because she also was in love with them!

I love the Ad picture of this campaign too!
Keep smiling lovelies!

KIKO Cosmetics Haul

I picked up this amazing products on a recent trip to London. I must say I am very impressed with this make!

The westfield store has a whole load of products from this brand and I just had to get a bit of everything!

I picked up..4 Eyeliners, Two lipsticks and a mineralize eyeshadow. All for £21.45 or something. (Much cheaper than MAC for sure!)

I am really looking forward to buying more things from this amazing brand. The lipsticks and eyeliners were all £3 and under, the eyeshadow was around £6. I cannot wait to go back to the store and invest in some more colours. This brand should defnitely be around some more!

Hope that all is well!
