Madame Madame.

Hello lovelies,
Today's pulse question. Have you ever bought a fragrance...loved it..used it and then forgotten that you had it?
Because I for sure have.
I bought Ma Dame by Jean Paul Gaultier at its Launch from a lovely Sephora in Champs-Élysées Paris. (Yes the big huge store on the road...it is my favourite ever place in Paris. I could just live there!) I think the launch must have been around 2008 and it was everywhere...and the lovely Agyness Deyn fronted the campaign. Anyway at the time this fragrance was pretty sought after I managed to get it for around £58 from duty free in the 100ml bottle.

I love the design of the bottle, it is modern yet elegant and has the legendary  classique Gaultier bottle shaping in the middle. The perfume is a fresh and floral scent with notes of orange zest, sparkling rose, musk and cedar. It is so feminine and alluring and can be worn during the day or the evening. I have started wearing this perfume again and with it being a Eau De Parfum it lasts all day! I have received many compliments on this and would recommend it to everyone. I am so glad that I re-discovered it in my collection :D

What perfumes are you loving right now that you have used again after a long time?
Hope that you are all having a great day all!

Luxury Hands

I don't know about you but I always tend to forget about hand care...I don't know why but I have never really invested in a food hand cream, bizarre I know. But not now. I picked up this amazing Wild Rose handcream from The Body Shop. It is very moisturising and smells absolutely beautiful! It actually does smell like roses unlike a few rose scented creams that smell very artificial. I got this for about £5 so it is great in my eyes :D

I would just like to take this opportunity to say RIP to the Body Shop Originals range. I recently discovered that they discontinued the line apart from the Banana Shampoo and Conditioner. It makes me sad because the Carrot cream was my favourite ever moisturiser. Luckily I was able to get a couple more tubs to last me the whole year. What will I do now??? :( For me The Body Shop skincare out does that in Lush maybe because it just suits me more. I have tried a couple of samples to replace my carrot cream and I feel like the Vit C daily moisturiser will become my next favourite.

What kind of hand care products do you use? Or are you just like me and forget to care? :P

Take care all!

Why did I not get this sooner?

Do you ever have those moments where you're like...UGH WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THIS BEFORE???

This happened to me today. Now I am a perfume lover....and I normally tend to have some perfume on me everywhere I go but you know it isn't easy carrying a 50ml or a 100ml glass bottle everywhere you go. Plus the little 1ml testers run out so quickly that I don't see the point of them!
Behold....Travalo!
Now I had heard about this product before but I didn't really think about getting one myself because well I am very silly. haha...This perfume atomiser is so easy to use and fills up quickly and is small enough to fit in ANY handbag so I love it! I like how it is great for travel too because I always overpack things and end up having no room for my perfumes. The atomiser is so light that you can fill a couple up with different perfumes and take them around with me!

I decided to go for the black colour because it appealed the most to me and at the moment I have filled it up with a Gucci Fragrance . I am so happy that I invested in one of these because I have many events coming up and I can't carry about huge bottles of perfume everytime I need a touch up. So thank goodness for Travalo! I bought mine for £7.99 from The Fragrance Shop in Milton Keynes shopping centre and I think I will definitely be investing in a couple more atomisers :D

Have you  tried or bought the travalo atomisers?
Keep Smiling everyone!

Hey Sailor!

Now I really do get excited every time MAC bring out a new collection..and the majority of the time I get intrigued by them and purchase at least 1 thing. This Hey Sailor collection has intrigued me to pick up one of the Powder Blushes in Fleet Fast. I am not a huge fan of powder blushes mainly because it just doesn't set on my skin at all. But perhaps this one can make a difference? I liked the texture and colour of this blush so I thought that I might aswell give it a try. :D

I like that this blush has a peachy/pink tone to it, which is great for just lighting up my skin. It is similar to the Posey creme blush but this might give off more of a peach tinge than the pink tone in Posey. I have enjoyed using this so far, it is pretty easy to apply and does last a while on my skin.

Have you discovered something you like in the Hey Sailor collection?
Keep smiling all!

Ivory Heels

I have been after a decent pair of Ivory heels for a while now and I picked these up from my local New Look store! They are probably the highest heels I own but they are sooo lovely.
I have a few weddings to attend this year and these are the perfect shoes for some of my outfits. The heel comes in at around 11cm and actually they are pretty comfortable to wear! At £29.99 they are a bargain! :D

VIVO Lipstick

Hello everyone I thought I would make a brief post about VIVO cosmetics lipstick today.

I picked  it up a while back and only just got around to testing it out. So I bought the lipstick in Barely There...it is a perfect pink nude with a cream finish. It glides on the lips and really hydrates them leaving them soft with ahint of colour. The only bad thing I can say that it is not as long lasting as I would personally like it to be. But it is a perfect colour for the daytime during my work hours..its not too much and perks up the lips. :)

I hope that you are all well!

Buttery.

Ahhh I swear the Body Shop has the greatest moisturisers and body butters! I recently got given the Jolly Orange Body Butter by my Mum for Christmas and I only just started using it. I know I am terrible!

I absolutely love the feel of this butter it is thick and makes my skin feel amazing. The smell might be off putting to some as it is similar to calamine and orange but oddly enough I like it! Totally worth the price because these butters are so rich and amazing for anyones skin. I was at the hospital recently and they helped my skin get the hydration it needed. The thick formula makes it last for a long time...so a win win in my eyes!

I hope that you are all well!
